Stir-fried Green Veggies with Beans and Corn Porridge(Adalu)

You may have already come across the Nigerian Beans and corn Porridge(Adalu) recipe, here on the blog. The combination of beans and corn is a delicious way to eat your beans and get your fiber without sacrificing taste and flavor. Even though it is traditionally prepared with fresh corn, I'd say that I enjoy it better when prepared with the canned sweet corn . And for extra richness and nourishment, I serve it with some stir-fried greens. Peel Beans Easily in a blender (for Moi moi & Akara)

If you've ever prepared Moi moi or Akara from scratch, you know that peeling or dehulling the beans is one of the cooking tasks that discourages a lot of people from cooking these delicious meals. The traditional method of peeling beans, is done by soaking the beans in water for about 30 minutes to a few hours, then scrubbing the beans in between your palms to peel of the coat. This is tasty dish and has become popular over the years , as most parents have discovered it as a way of getting their kids to eat beans. Gbegiri (Hausa Miyan Wake) Gbegiri  or Miyan Wake is a Nigerian soup that is indigenous to the Yoruba and Hausa tribe in Nigerian . Gbegiri / Miyan Wake is made with cooked dehulled beans(beans with no coat/hull), that has been mashed and enriched with palm oil,  fish(crayfish or smoked fish) and spices.
