Nigerian Pepper Sauce Recipe (Pepper Dip)
Nigerian Pepper Sauce |
Nigerian Pepper Sauce is a tasty, spicy sauce made with hot peppers.
I love the versatility of this sauce and it is so easy to prepare.
You can use it as a dip for roasted/grilled plantains, yams, potatoes and spring rolls(yes , spring rolls)☺.
I also add it as a topping for boiled rice , potatoes and plantains.
Below, you'll find two (2) different recipes; one that you can prepare with heat and the other with little or no heat.
So, here's a video recipe on How To Make Nigerian Pepper Sauce.

* 2 tablespoonful Vegetable oil or Palm oil(depending on your preference)
* 1 small stock cube
* Salt to taste
Preparation

* Chop the peppers and tomatoes into bits and blend coarsely (not smooth)
* Heat up the oil until hot. Add the chopped onions and stir fry for few seconds.
* Then, add the ground crayfish and also stir fry for a few seconds.
TIP: Frying the ground crayfish,gives the sauce a unique taste and also gives the it a darker color.
* Add the blended pepper mix and fry for 10 minutes
*Add the stock cube and salt to taste; Mix throughly and after 30 seconds, your sauce is ready. Yummy!
